The theatre is the crown jewel of Downtown Disney and is inspired by
a majestic circus tent.

It is situated at the western most-end of Downtown
Disney, the huge spires of the white big top brings you to the base of
the building where the gift shop and box office are located. Going down
the second story entrance using the swooping staircase are vibrantly colored
carpets on the walls and floor. Red velvet curtains opens to the 1,671-seat
showroom with black interior, contrasting the dynamic white structure. The
audience is automatically transported to another world as soon as they enter
the theatre.
The Elizabethan-style stage resembles a well-traveled path
or plain and the ceiling is decorated with seven cloud-like

two platforms housed in the 75-foot towers rising on each
side of the stage. The five elevators lifts rise to a maximum
height of 16 feet, the center stage lift is capable of descending

and acrobatic equipment. Performers are able to jump higher
and faster with the retractable power track floors, specially

La Nouba has an international
cast of 70 artists. Some are former Olympians, ballerinas,

The show open with a parade, the
lights fade and illuminate only a narrow portion of
the carpet, separating the two tiers of audience seating.
Characters enter and reveal their personalities and
then exit.
There are ten acts all in all composing the storyline’s
two types of families or groups, the full of fantasy
and colorful Cirques (circus people) and the monochromatic
Urbains (urbanites).
Crowd favorite is the Diabolos where
four young Chinese girls show off their acrobatic skills
while flinging about large yo-yos of some sort.
